Mesenteric Blood supply

The foregut is supplied by the coeliac axis (T12). The three pinciple branches are the

  1. Splenic artery
  2. Left gastric artery
  3. Hepatic artery

The Midgut is supplied by the superior mesenteric artery (L1).

 

The Hindgut is supplied by the inferior mesenteric artery (L3)
